Working with you to care for your child.
Holy Family teachers and staff are vigilant about providing a safe and healthy environment for our students. We ask our parents and guardians to follow the policies listed below.
*Snacks: All snacks or treats sent to school should be peanut/peanut butter free. We closely follow the Healthy Kids Act and request all snacks be nutritious: whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low fat cheeses and lean meats.
*Illness policy: After a fever, students should be fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Advil (acetaminophen or ibuprofren) prior to returning to school. Please notify the school office if your child is absent due to illness.
*Medication: We will administer medications to students at school if the medication is in the original container and a medication sheet with the parent’s signature accompanies the medication.
*Healthy behaviors: We strongly encourage healthy behaviors such as washing hands with soap and water prior to meals, covering up coughs, and taking several drink breaks a day to keep well hydrated.
